Well the modders are changing from imperial to metric units on the Type 212, so I don't see why they wouldn't do the same thing for the french subs.
After all they also use metric. ^_^

There are quite a few graphic issues here and there.
Don't loose your sleep over them its not that important.

Yes, as they say the devil is in the details.
The modders would have to modify the 3d model and maybe some other things as well.
